The Devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows is a devotion given to us by St. Bridget of Sweden (1303–1373). During this month devoted to our Lady of Sorrows, we are invited to console the Sorrowful Heart of Mary and to unite our suffering to hers and by doing so receive beautiful graces of consolation and strength.

It's back to school time and even though the children are starting back to their studies, the whole family makes a shift in the rhythm of the days as we move into fall. We all get more focused and on task.
Don't let your prayer life slip.

The month of August is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I love that August is traditionally dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady. What a special way to end summer, begin fall and move closer to the next liturgical season.

It's that time of year again. How did you do with your Lenten devotions?
Each year at this time we are humbled as we reflect on the last 40 days. We are near the end of Lent and the beginning of Holy Week and the Sacred Triduum.
😇
And whether you grew spiritually or stumbled through Lent, it is never too late to make each day HOLY with Our Lord.

It is easy to get discouraged, distracted or forgetful at times. We are only human. We need supernatural help. And that is precisely why God, in His Infinite Wisdom, gave us His only begotten Son.

Fall has officially arrived and I have to confess that, although it is October, I have started thinking about Advent and Christmas already.
Wait...what?! It's only October!
